This week we are learning:
Math:
This week we will continue our unit over financial literacy. Students will continue to familiarize themselves with money and will become familiar with terminology such as to save and borrow. They will see the importance of saving money and how it can accumulate over a period of time. Stations will be done in class as well over financial literacy. Students will have an assignment towards the end of the week that will cover everything we have discussed so far concerning financial literacy.
Science:
We will be investigating the effects of an object by increasing or decreasing the amount of light, heat, and sound energy. We will spend a little over a week over each form of energy. Students will have hands on labs and will create an energy book over their discoveries throughout the next few weeks. This week students will be mainly focusing on heat energy and will even have some practice with reading thermometers later in the week.
