Dear Parents and Guardians,
Friday, May 20th will be the date for Field Day this year. To ensure the success of Field Day, we rely on the outstanding support from our volunteers (aka parents ). I have created an online sign-up sheet that will organize where we need help. If you would like to come up and just watch your child rotate through the stations, you are more than welcome to join us but we ask that there be no younger siblings brought to school on this day. Please remember that whether you are volunteering or just watching, you must check in at the front office for a Raptor Badge.
Our Field Day will be broken down into a morning session (9:00 – 11:00) and an afternoon session (12:20-2:20) with lunch in between (parents are asked to not have lunch with your child on this day as they will be having picnics around the campus). We will also need help setting up each station and cleaning up afterwards.
My goal is for you to be able to see your child’s class as they rotate through your station and to hopefully have enough volunteers that you can give each other breaks to go watch your child periodically (if able). K, 1, and 2 will be outside in the morning and inside in the afternoon. 3, 4, and 5 will be inside in the morning and outside in the afternoon.

Please understand that the stations are subject to change if needed. Feel free to sign up for the morning, afternoon or both sessions if you wish. We also need canopies for shade at the outdoor stations and we ask that you write your name somewhere on them and pick them up that afternoon.
